Although both the sides proposed to agree to truces at different timings, Hamas and Israel have launched new attacks on each other, continuing with the war and destroying the areas furthermore, despite of so many deaths.
Several international efforts took place to put a full stop to the devastating three week old war in Gaza. However, none of the efforts seemed to have worked, leading to the continuation of war. Now, an intensified call for immediate ceasefire has been made by the U.N. Security Council on Monday.
United Nations looks forward to have an “immediate and unconditional humanitarian cease-fire” in the war that has already led to deaths of more than 1,036 Palestinians and around 43 brave Israeli soldiers.

Considering the extended efforts of U.N., Benjamin Netyanyahu, Prime Minister of Israel said, “Israel is not obliged and is not going to let a terrorist organization determine when it’s convenient for them to fire at our cities, at our people, and when it’s not. We’ll take the necessary action to protect our people, including, by the way, continuing to dismantle tunnels. That’s our policy.”
