Tibet at its peak of warmest glaciers in 2000 years

During the past 50 years, the humidity and temperature has risen at an alarming rate, resulting into dispersing of these glaciers.

A Chinese Newspaper stated; “Over the past 50 years, the rate of temperature rise has been double the average global level.” The weather experts believe that this trend would disrupt and hamper the water supply, thereby making changes in the climatic conditions that will not be favorable for the people.

The experts believe that this could be a cause of climate changes and human activities, which has resulted into landslides, avalanches and floods. The experts also commented that these Tibetan Glaciers have reduced to 15%. However, at the same time, the rising temperature has balanced the ecosystem to an extent.
