A team of researchers stated that these people with low-carb diet lost nearly three times weight, compared to those who took low-fat diet.
Dr. Lydia Bazzano, professor at the Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, said; “This isn’t a license to hit the butter and meat fats. But, even very high-fat diets can be healthy. Good cholesterol (LDL) went up quite a bit more on the low-carb diet than it did on the low-fat diet.”
The survey who took many participants confirmed that the low-carb diet group lost about 12 pounds on average, whereas, the low-fat group lost just about 4 pounds on an average. People are unaware of the difference between the two and so as the doctors to an extent.
Many dieticians and weight loss programers suggest a low-fat diet compared to low-carb diet. Before you begin your diet plan, it is better to research online and make some notes on the food that have low carbohydrates. It entirely depends on the person on how soon he wishes to lose weight.
