Baby Lachlan who is a seven-week-old boy, heard his mother for the first time, with the help of a tiny hearing aid. Lachlan took birth in Australia and was detected deaf after a month of his birth. The doctors then decided to use a tiny hearing aid to check if he was able to hear.

Father of the boy, could not control his sentiments and captured a video of Lachlan’s reaction on the camera. The expression on the little one’s face completely changed the moment he heard his mother’s voice.  The video can be found on the search engines by Lachlan’s name.

At first, he was stunned and quite to recollect the difference but, the moment his mom spoke to him, there was a broad smile on Lachlan’s face. Lachlan’s parents shared a few words with the media; Our beautiful son Lachlan was diagnosed as having moderate to severe hearing loss in both ears.

When he was 7 weeks old, he received his first hearing aids. His reaction when they were turned on was truly amazing. We cried from happiness. Our beautiful little boy is now two years old and doing remarkably well.”
