According to the U.S. ambassador said on Monday, eight civilians lost their lives in an air strike near Tripoli. As per the reporters, a car with explosives was driven by two suicide bombers in an army check point in Benghazi, an eastern Libyan city. On the same day aiming for giving an end to the battle, a six point proposal was been proposed by UN.
The responsibility for this attack was been claimed by Islamic State in a statement which was posted on twitter.
In a separate incident in Libya`s second largest city, a residential building had been hit by a rocket in which a 17 year old girl and another civilian lost their lives, three civilians were injured, as per the hospital medics. It has not yet been cleared who had fired the rocket.
Benghazi is going through heavy clashes occurring daily between ISIL forces of the internationally recognized government. Not less than four months the port has been closed, which results in demolishing wheat and food imports.
