At Least 22 Bus Passengers Lost Their Lives in an Attack by Gunmen in Pakistan

According to the reporters, gunmen out of view as members of Pakistani security forces put to death not less than 22 bus passengers late on Friday, after forcing them of buses travelling from the western city of Quetta to Karachi on the southern coast.

The violence in the restive province of Baluchistan took place in the town of Mastung, which is located around 40 km south of Quetta.

According to the Baluchistan`s home minister, Sarfaraz Bugti, around 35 bus passengers were been abducted by fifteen to twenty armed men who were in three pickup trucks who were wearing security uniforms. He added that the bodies of those 20 passengers later were found around 2 km away in nearly foothills from the main Quetta Karachi highway.

The motives of the violence was not been cleared.

After this brutal assault, protest was been held by hundreds of Pashtuns on Saturday in Pakistan`s Balochistan province. They had also refused to bury the dead bodies of the passengers until the government offered them protection.

As per the minister, six passengers had been rescued by the security forces and they were chasing the militants to rescue the remaining passengers.
