At 13 People Lost Their Lives in the Attack by Al Shabaab on Somalia Hotel

According to the reporters, at least 13 people had lost their lives when the extremists of Al Shabaab Islamist drove a car which was packed with the explosives to the gate of the Jazeera Hotel in the Somalia`s capital Mogadishu.

As said by a Reuters witness, at the site of the blast targeting the Jazeera Hotel, pieces of flesh and blood were all scattered around. There was the wreckage of four cars nearby.

According to an ambulance worker Abdikadir Abdirahmry critan told the Reuters that they had carried 13 people who were dead and also 21 others who had been injured in this blast, some of them in very critical condition.

As said by the Foreign Ministry, among the dead was a Chinese national who had worked doing security as its embassy in the country, which is situated in the hotel, and three others had got minor injuries.

The spokesman of Somali government said, “As you know there are military operations in Southern Somalia, and the militants were expelled from the strategic areas, because of that they started killing innocent people.”

He also added that the relationship between the two countries is very strong and it can`t be affected by such barbaric action. He also thanked the government of China for its aid.
