At Least 2 Policemen Lost Their Lives, 30 Injured In Attack in Egypt

According to the deputy health minister Alaa el Deen Othman, at least three policemen had lost their lives and not less than 30 had been injured in the roadside bomb attack in Egypt`s Nile Delta.

The target of the bomb blast was a bus which was carrying conscripts in the Nile Delta province of Beheira early in the morning, as said by the police Brig. Gen. Khaled al Hameed.

The responsibility for the attack had not been immediately claimed by any of the group.

At the same time, another roadside bomb had targeted an armored military vehicle in el Arish city in the restive northern part of the Sinai Peninsula. In this attack not less than five security personnel were injured, as per the security and medical officials said.

The attack came four days after 29 people were injured in the car bomb attack outside national security headquarters in Cairo.

A day before, a tank in the northern part of the Sinai was been blown up by the attackers as said by the officials. In this attack one soldier was put to death and also two others were injured.
