Two Pakistani Civilians Lost Their Lives After Indian Forces Open Fire: Pakistan Military

According to the reporters, not less than two Pakistani civilians had lost their lives on Thursday evening due to fire launched by the Indian forces along the two countries` disputed border, as said by the Pakistani military.

According to a statement, among the dead was a teenage girl.

As said in a statement, referring to the term for the de facto border in disputed Kashmir, “Two civilians, 13 year old Laiba and 55 year old Munshi Ahmed, embraced shahadat (matrydom) due to Indian unprovoked firing in Nakyal sector along LOC (Line of control) this evening.

Up till late Thursday evening, fire was been exchanged between the forces of the two countries, as per the military statement.

Two of their three wars had been fought by India and Pakistan over the Himalayan region since both of them got independence in 1947, and it had always remained a major source of tension.

According to the assistant commissioner, the number of casualties could be higher, but the administration is not able to provide the details from the vulnerable areas due to continued Indian firing.

According to the statement released by the Inter Services Public Relations, Indian forces had also resorted to unprovoked firing in Kotli sector.
