According to the reporters, not less than 10 Shia Muslims had lost their lives as a suicide bomber blew him-self up in a mosque in Bagh tehsil of Kachhi district, which is 300 kilometers from Quetta.
Among the dead were six children. Also 12 others had been injured in the attack.
The attack took place when the Shias gathered at the mosque to observe Muharram.
The attack and the death toll had been confirmed by the Local administration official Mohammad Waseem.
The deceased and injured people were been shifted to the nearby hospitals by the rescue workers and law enforcers who reached the scene.
The responsibility for the attack had not yet been immediately claimed by any of the group, but minority Shias had often been targeted by the Sunni extremist group.
It is said to be the first attack that had targeted the minority Shia Muslims in the holy month of Muharram when they organize special prayers.
According to the provincial home minister Sarfaraz Bugti, the bomber was wearing a burqa and entered in a crowded mosque, but he was been stopped by the security forces and later he blew himself up.
