According to the reporters, two air strikes had destroyed a small medical facility which is ran by Doctors Without Borders in the northern Yemini province of Sadaa, as said by the aid group`s chief in Yemen on Tuesday. There were no casualties reported due to strikes.
The clinic has been located in the Houthi rebel stronghold of Sadaa. It had been targeted twice on Monday night during an attack. The attack had lasted for at least two hours.
As per Hassan Boucenine, who spoke to the Associated Press by telephone from the southern port city of Aden, on Monday, at 11 pm, the first strike took place and targeted a building housing the facility`s administration offices.
By the time the second air strike hit the main nearby building. Around 12 patients and staff members had been reported to be present in the center at the time. As they were in hurry for the evacuation, one of the patients got burns and scratches and another is said to be in a critical condition.
Doctors Without Borders is said to be one of the few international organizations which had been operating extensively throughout Yemen.
