At Least 11 Chadian Soldiers Lost Their Lives in Boko Haram Attack

According to the reporters, not less than 11 soldiers had lost their lives when the Boko Haram Islamists attacked the Chadian soldiers on Tuesday. Also 13 others had been wounded in this attack, said the Chadian army.

This attack is said to be the latest deadly raid by the militants despite a regional offensive against them.

As per the army, at least 17 Boko Haram insurgents had been killed in the fighting following the pre-drawn strike.

According to a security source who asked for the anonymity told AFP, that the army positions were attacked by the Boko Haram fighters at around 4:30 am in Kaiga Ngouboua which is located about two kilometers from the Nigerian border.

The attackers are said to be pushed back and the search operations in the zone is being continued by the army, as said by the source.

Since 2009, not less than 10,000 people had been put to death by the Boko Haram extremist group, in an attempt to establish an authoritarian Islamic State.

On the other hand, according to the Nigerian army said on Tuesday, that a suspected Boko Haram financier had been detained by the Nigerian army in Bama Local Government Area of Borno.
