According to the reporters, not less than 45 people, both rebel fighters and civilians had lost their lives in the air strikes on Monday evening in the Jabal Akrad area, which is held by the First Coastal Division rebel group.
Also a top rebel commander from a group armed by President Bashar al Assad`s foreign enemies was put to death in the strikes in Syria`s Latakia province, as said by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
As per the another monitoring group fueled by local activists, the Local Coordination Committees had put the Monday`s death toll at 57 in Latakia province most of them rebels.
According to the Director of the British based Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Rami Abdel Rahman, among the dead was a rebel commander and the families of the rebel fighters. Dozens of others had been injured in the attack and the death toll is expected to rise because the number of those with serious wounds.
As said by the activist groups on Tuesday, not less than 400 people had lost their lives by the Russian air strikes in Syria, since the campaign started three weeks ago.
