According to the reporters and security sources, a base near the international airport west of Baghdad that houses exiled Iranian opposition members, had been targeted by not less than 15 missiles.
As per the Iranian exiles said that three soldiers had been put to death and not less than 20 of their people had lost their lives in the attack.
According to the Baghdad operations command said, a least fifteen rockets had been launched from Bakriya around and on the edge of Camp Liberty. He added that the truck from which the missiles were been fired had been found by the police.
The casualty count could not be verified quickly, said the Iraq police. At least 15 rockets had been confirmed by the Iraqi police that had struck down on Camp Liberty.
Also dozens others had been injured in the attack. According to one of the sources of police, based at the airport said that as for the precautionary measure, the flights had been suspended.
The responsibility for the attack had not been immediately claimed by any of the group.
The attack was been blamed on Iran by Maryam Rajavi, president elect of the Paris based National Council of Resistance of Iran.
