According to the reporters, not less than 89 people had lost their lives, including 17 children, on Friday in the attacks on Syrian opposition strongholds near Damascus and in the country`s north, as said by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.
Also not less than 100 others had been wounded after Syrian government forces launched missiles in to a market near Damascus.
This attack comes one day after air strikes by Syrian planes also destructed another market and hospital in Douma, in which nine people had been put to death, as reported by SOHR.
Not less than a dozen rockets had been targeted in to the main market and nearby residential neighborhoods in Douma, which is located about 10 miles east of Damascus, as per the local medics, anti-government activists and residents.
The attack took place just after 8 am as the market was full with vendors and shoppers. The attack continued for not less than four hours striking with artillery fire, mortars and intermittent air strikes, said the opposition activists.
As reported, the names of those dead were still be announces on mosque loudspeakers by nightfall.
