5 Suspects Related To Paris Attacks Being Hunt by Geneva Police

According to the reporters, as the police is hunting for suspects related to the terror attacks in Paris, Geneva, Switzerland, has been put on high alert, as said by a source close to the investigation.

As said in a statement by the Geneva department of security, “The Geneva police, on the basis of this information, have increased their level of vigilance and reinforced the number of police agents on the ground.”

According to a security guard at United Nations in Geneva told Reuters that four suspects who are believed to be in the area were being searched by the Swiss authorities.

On the other hand, as said by a Belgian prosecutor that they had searched three premises in searches related to the Paris attacks. The Belgian Salah Abdeslam, one of the suspected attackers is still on run.

On November 13, not less than 130 people had lost their lives and hundreds of others had been injured in the attacks on Paris. The responsibility for the attacks had been claimed by the Islamic State group.

To locate the suspects whom they believed to be in the Geneva region, the police are working along with national and international authorities.
