According to the reporters, not less than six people had lost their lives including three children, yesterday in a car bomb attack which was blamed on Kurdish militants that had ripped through a police station and an adjacent housing complex for officer`s families in south eastern Turkey. Also at least 39 others had been injured in the attack.
At least two civilians had lost their lives in the initial bombing by the Kurdistan Worker`s Party (PKK) in the town of Cinar and three more were put to death when a building collapsed due to the damage caused by the blast, as said by the governor`s office of Diyarbakir province in a statement.
As said by the Prime Minister Ahmet Davutoglu, that one policeman had also lost his life and he also vehemently condemned the attack.
According to the security sources told AFP, that among the victims that lost their lives in the building collapse included a five month old baby, a boy aged five and a girl aged one.
Following the attack, the teams from the Disaster and Emergency Management Directorate and a National Medical Rescue Team took part in the search and rescue work.
