According to the reporters, not less than four people had lost their lives in the last Thursday and Friday, apparently coordinated explosions in seven of Thailand`s southern provinces.
Also at least 35 others had been injured in the attack. Not less than a dozen sites had been targeted, which includes the popular tourist destinations of Phuket, Surat Thani and Hua Hin.
Among those who were injured includes, 20 Thais and 10 foreigners from Germany, Italy, the Netherlands and Austria.
As per to the reports, some of the bombs had been concealed I flower beds and roadside plants. They had been detonated by the mobile phones amid crowds of people.
Over the weekend, many unexploded devices had been found in Hua Hin, Phuket and Phang Nga. On Sunday, three small bombs had been exploded in a street in the southern province of Yala. No one was reported to be injured.
As said by the Deputy police Chief Pongsapat Pongchareon, “The events are connected, carefully planned and carried out across many areas and masterminded by one individual.”
The responsibility for the deadly attacks had not yet been claimed by any of the group.
