According to the reporters, an arrest warrant had been issued for a resident of Narathiwat`s Tak Bai district who is reportedly on the run in Malaysia.
The man had been identified by the police as a Thai man as a suspect in their investigation in to attacks that had put to death not less than four people and injured dozens in a wave of bombings in Thailand`s south a week ago.
The man named Ahama Lengha had been described by his relative and friends as a good man known for his involvement in public works.
An arrest warrant had been issued by a military court after DNA collected at the scene of the bombing matched his DNA in relation to a 2008 case.
As per to the reports, Ahama was wanted under an arrest warrant over his suspected involvement in acts of violence in the Deep South.
According to an official, the suspect had denied to comply with several summonses to report to authorities.
Ahama is a resident of Tak Bai`s Tambon Koh Sathon. He works at a fertilizer factory in Malaysia that is located 15 kilometers from his house and he returns home every weekend.
